REMOTE ACCESS
Customers can remotely access BIOMIC V3 from additional computers in the lab network. This feature provides significant labor savings as customers can instantly review test and QC results, reports, and plate images from any office or workstation in the lab.
Example 1: Supervisor reviews and confirms test results in their office prior to LIS/LIMS transfer
Example 2: Technologist enters QC & inventory control data including disk/reagent/media lots from a separate computer.
Example 3: Director generates antibiogram and QC reports from their office
Example 4: Technologists at separate benches may review/modify test results after plates have been read with BIOMIC V3.
MULTI-LAB NETWORKS
Multiple BIOMIC V3 Microbiology Systems can be connected on a global network for hospital or private lab groups, government MOH programs, or multiple lab studies. Sites may collect test and QC results to monitor antibiotic drug resistance trends from a central location. Results may be used for regulatory filing, research, or marketing purposes.
