"The BIOMIC V3 system contributes greatly to reducing the workload in our laboratory routine. Reading disc susceptibility tests and Etests with BIOMIC V3 is quick and reliable. Results are available to be reviewed at any time because they are stored in the database. Another great advantage of the system is that it allows CLSI or EUCAST guidelines according to the user selection, and additionally provided annual updates of the guidelines. The system allows the reading API panels and has the ability to quickly count colonies on plated media, which greatly facilitates the work when food, water or environment samples are processed. BIOMIC V3 also performs quality control for susceptibility testing.
