SECONDARY SYSTEM
As a secondary system (to VITEK, MicroScan, Phoenix, etc), BIOMIC V3 provides instant, standardized, and electronically documented test results and images. BIOMIC V3 offers maximum flexibility for antibiotic disk testing and identification panels (API, RapID, Crystal). Automated CHROMagar reading and colony counting features are also included.
Customers using BIOMIC V3 as a secondary system vary from 5 tests per week to 100’s of tests per day. Automated Quality Control testing and documentation based on CLSI, CAP and JCAHO requirements provide advanced preparation for lab inspections.
With its bar code reader and bi-directional LIS/LIMS connection, BIOMIC V3 is an ideal secondary system to complete the automation in your microbiology lab.
